Group assignments have been widely used in English language classrooms and supported by researchers and teachers all over the world because of undeniable benefits they bring about. However, a question has been raised that how a teacher can manage and create a valuable assignment that lends itself to a fair method of assessment. Thanks to technological advances, Trello apps was introduced as a tool for teachers and students to visually track groupwork from start to finish. With a number of helpful functions, Trello makes assignments easy to manage and to ensure that the work is being completed. This presentation will provide a model of applying Trello apps to manage groupwork in Translation practice for third-year students at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), as well as positive students’ feedbacks on this apps in term of use, best practices, motivations and rewards for their collaboration. Presentation participants will have the opportunity to learn the steps to implement Trello apps effectively in managing students’ groupwork when working on their group assignments at home or create their own ways to exploit this apps in their classroom settings.
