Abstract


Constructive teacher feedback following classroom observations is critical to a teacher’s self-reflection and professional growth. This is especially true when the students, the teacher, and the observer may represent different cultures. This workshop builds on methods I have developed to provide non-evaluative, encouraging teacher feedback in a variety of cultural settings. During the workshop, participants will engage in a simulation of a classroom lesson observation, practice providing constructive feedback to the teacher, and evaluate a specific model of classroom feedback designed for teacher growth in cross-cultural settings.
